Happy St. Patrick's Day!
I don't have a lick of the Irish in me.
I still think Jimmy Malay is still mad at me for asking why he had the Italian Flag in his basement. A high school romantic interest, we were sneaking beer out of his basement fridge. I am sure I wouldn't have been so confused if I hadn't had so many Mickey's Big Mouth Beers.
But after spending so many of my formative years in Chicago, a city that treated St. Patty's day like a National Holiday I've come to embrace the day.
